Advantage of these resin model motor whaleboats (MWBs) is that their light weight let me attach them to davits. Metal MWBs are too heavy. I bought
extra WMBs from the USS Spokane kit, to equip other 1/700 models.rnrnI glued two vertical thin wires inside the MWB to represent the falls from the
davits. To attach the MWBs to the davits: at my clever wife's suggestion, I piled tiny balls of non-oily modeling clay on the deck; placed the MWB
atop them; joined the falls to the PE davits; and removed the balls by thin tweezers.rnrnTo improve this product, Admiralty should mold holes inside
the MWB for the modeler to insert wire, representing the fall that attaches to each davit.
